The sailing of the T&T Spirit has been cancelled until further notice.

The Inter-Island Transportation Company has advised that this will affect the vessel’s daily morning departures from Trinidad and evening return sailings from Tobago.

The cancellation follows the A.P.T. James being out for its statutory dry-docking.

To maintain inter-island service, the Buccoo Reef, Galleons Passage, and Cabo Star will operate with adjusted sailing times.

Meanwhile, Works Minister Jearlean John says the APT James is expected to return to service on January 3rd, after completing its mandatory five-year dry docking.

In a Guardian Media report, the Minister confirmed that the dry docking, which began on November 20, 2025, has been successfully completed and all related fees paid.

She added that final post-docking tasks, including loading life rafts and sea trials, are being completed ahead of the vessel’s return to operations.
