The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says the Tourism Oriented Policing Section (TOPS) ensured the safety of visitors from the cruise ship Brilliance of the Sea.

The Section, led by WSGT John, WCPL Woods-Rawlins, 17844 PC Goddard, PC Brathwaite, PC Douglas, and PC Lashley, were in action at the “After Carnival Cool Down” event at Pigeon Point Heritage Park.

Over 1,700 cruise guests and about 1,000 locals attended, enjoying local music and a performance by international reggae artist Mr. Vagas.

TOPS maintained a secure environment throughout, allowing everyone to enjoy the festivities without incident. Senior Superintendent Kirk and ACP Hazel were also on site.

The event wrapped up at 6 p.m., leaving visitors with a greater appreciation of Tobago as a safe and vibrant destination.
