Authorities are investigating theft and vandalism which occurred at WASA’s Scott’s Road Well #1 on Saturday night.
Thieves made off with electrical wires and control equipment components, which have disrupted the facility’s operations and affected almost 4,000 customers along Penal Rock Road, Siparia.
Extensive electrical repair works, which are required to return the facility to operation, are expected to be completed by 8PM tomorrow.
Areas expected to experience low pressures or no water at times include Boodoo’s Development, along Penal Rock Road, from Scott’s Road Junction to Morne Diablo Junction, Scott’s Road proper and Morne Diablo proper.
