Iwer George has been named Brand Ambassador for WASA’s 2026 Dry Season.
The announcement came during a media briefing this morning for the Authority to launch its Dry Season Weather Plan & Conservation Campaign.
CEO Dain Maharaj says the move is part of a wider water security strategy for the dry season.
George was selected to help amplify the message “Doh waste water — water is life,” noting his long-standing association with calls for water throughout his soca career.
Phase one of the campaign will see Iwer George making public appearances and promoting water conservation at events throughout the Carnival season.
Other measures include monitoring reservoir levels and rainfall trends, optimizing treatment plants, and improving leak detection and response.
