THA Housing Secretary Ricky Joefield says Tobago is on track to deliver 250 new homes by July 2027.
Speaking at a media briefing yesterday, Mr. Joefield outlined that two major projects, the Riseland Development in Carnbee and Adventure Phase Three in Plymouth, are now in the mobilisation phase.
Construction began in January this year, with an 18-month timeline set and a goal to deliver at least 100 units by December 2026.
The Riseland project, being developed by contractor California Stucco, will deliver 130 units at a cost of $141.1 million, while the Adventure Development, by CSL Ltd, will provide 120 units at a cost of $139.2 million.
Mr Joefield said both contracts were awarded prior to his tenure.
Housing prices for the units are expected to range from $850,000 to $1.3 million, depending on final specifications and approved location policies.
