The Tertiary Education Ministry has awarded 345 bursaries, valued at $51,979,789.
These bursaries will benefit succeeding applicants in the pursuit of undergraduate studies, with 60% of the recipients being females and 40% males.
Tertiary Education Minister Professor Prakash Persad said access to higher education must be supported for the younger generation to benefit from equitable opportunities.
He added that this will help them contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
