Team Trinidad and Tobago has concluded 2026 CARIFTA Games with a total of 35 medals, 10 more than the 2025 competition.
The team earned 9 gold, 11 silver, and 15 bronze medals, in a combination of track and field events, including relays, middle-distance races, and multi-event competitions.
Among the gold medalists were the Boys Under 20 4x100m Relay Team, Aniquah Bailey in the 3000m, Tyrique Vincent in the Under-20 Decathlon, Jaafari Shaw in the Under-17 Discus and Michael Paul in the Long Jump.
Jamaica topped the table with 71 medals, followed by Trinidad and Tobago with 35, Bahamas 30 and Barbados 17.
The 53rd CARIFTA Games were held this past weekend, in Grenada.
