The vibrant sounds of steelpan will fill the streets of Tunapuna this weekend as Pan Trinbago’s Eastern Region hosts its first-ever ‘Steelpan and Powder Parade’.
The event, held under the patronage of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, begins at 5 p.m. this Saturday from El Dorado Road near Massy Stores and ends at the Republic Bank Exodus Panyard.
Spectators can look forward to energetic performances from leading steelbands and a colourful display of Eastern pride and culture.
