Police say intensified operations under the State of Emergency are yielding results, with multiple arrests for ammunition offences across the South Western Division.

In separate exercises in Oropouche and La Brea, several suspects were detained after officers discovered illegal rounds during coordinated searches.

Meanwhile, two individuals are due before the South Criminal Court on firearm and robbery-related charges stemming from a Point Fortin incident.

In a separate matter, eleven people were charged with illegal entry after being intercepted at sea off Erin.

And in Port of Spain, a 21-year-old man was held after a stolen vehicle crash.
