In the wake of a devastating tragedy at their victory parade yesterday, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have announced a financial relief initiative for victims and their families.
The IPL franchise has pledged compensation to the families of the 11 individuals who lost their lives in the stampede that occurred outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Additionally, RCB has launched a special fund, RCB Cares, aimed at providing ongoing support and medical assistance to more than 50 injured fans.
The fund is intended to cover treatment costs and offer financial aid during their recovery.
The stampede was triggered by an overwhelming crowd turnout that outstripped security preparations.
