Police have destroyed two sophisticated cannabis grow-houses in Biche.
During an exercise yesterday, officers trekked several kilometres into a densely forested and swampy area where they discovered the structures outfitted with irrigation systems and solar panels.
They also contained a large quantity of fertiliser and 6,000 fully grown cannabis trees valued at six million dollars.
Meanwhile two men were held as police seized 26.5 kilograms of cannabis valued at one million dollars in Point Fortin.
The find was made after officers intercepted a vehicle in Cap-de-Ville on Wednesday night.
Finally, 1.8 kilograms of cannabis was found and seized yesterday at an abandoned structure at Boy’s Lane, D’Abadie.
