Police are investigating a shooting in Siparia that left one man dead following a confrontation with an off-duty officer earlier today.
Reports state that Zane Bowen, armed with a cutlass and a piece of wood, approached the officer outside his home and later followed him onto his property.
Bowen allegedly attacked the officer, who then drew his licensed firearm and opened fire.
Bowen died at the scene. Investigations are continuing.
