Two anti-crime operations have led to arrests and significant drug seizures in Trinidad.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says a 40-year-old man was held in San Juan after officers seized large quantities of Molly, methamphetamine and ecstasy, along with cash during a State of Emergency exercise.
In a separate operation, a 41-year-old Moruga man was arrested in Penal after police found nearly two kilogrammes of cannabis during a vehicle search.
Both exercises were carried out by specialized units targeting drug activity.
Police say investigations are continuing as efforts intensify to curb illegal narcotics across the country.
