West Indies captain Shai Hope said it was tough to lose the 2nd T20I against New Zealand with his team losing by three runs.
Hope said it was unfortunate that his team did not cross the line, but gave great credit for the fight shown by Rovman Powell, Romario Shepherd, and Matthew Forde.
He said his team did not finish the innings well with the ball and the top order batters could have also put in an improved performance.
The 3rd T20I is on Saturday at Nelson.
