Government Senator David Nakhid has accused several CARICOM leaders of undermining the Prime Minister’s alignment with the United States.
In a Facebook video posted yesterday, he issued a strong warning to the leaders.
Mr Nakhid defended Persad-Bissessar’s support for U.S. efforts against crime, citing improvements in safety and a reduction in crime rates in Trinidad and Tobago.
He also criticized Browne for his changing stance on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and questioned why certain leaders had not spoken out about the country’s issues during Rowley’s tenure.
