Rivaldo London is the 2026 Young King Calypso Monarch.
He took first place at the National Action Cultural Committee event on Tuesday night with his song “Water Thicker.”
London is the nephew of former national Extempo champions Brian London, while his brother Ronaldo was the 2019 Calypso Monarch.
Marq Pierre took second place with “How Yuh Feeling,” while Sherwin Babb (Becomer) copped third place with “Voicemail to Mother Kamla.”
Nicholas Ashby was fourth, with Nyol Manswell fifth, and former Junior Calypso Monarch Aaron Duncan in sixth place.
