Renowned Trinidadian artiste Dr. Rikki Jai has been honoured at the inaugural Caribbean Legends Honors Gala in New York City.
The event held on March 21 at Russo’s On The Bay, recognized individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Caribbean arts and culture.
Rikki Jai was celebrated alongside luminaries such as Terry Gajraj and Shivnarine Chanderpaul for promoting Caribbean heritage globally.
Officials including Joseph Addabbo and Donovan Richards presented proclamations highlighting his tireless efforts to preserve Trinidad and Tobago’s cultural legacy and strengthen the Caribbean diaspora.
Organizers say the gala marks a milestone in recognizing excellence and his award cements his role as a cultural ambassador for the region.
