Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Ravi Ratiram says there is strong public interest in the National Agriculture Training Initiative.
The programme aims to equip farmers, youth, women, and cooperatives with modern, climate-resilient farming techniques.
Speaking to TTT News at the Upper El Dorado Community Centre, Ratiram said about 35 courses have already been delivered.
He revealed that close to 1,000 people have successfully completed the free training programme so far.
The minister says participation remains high, with growing enthusiasm for agriculture across the country.
