Ramleela

Ramleela will be portrayed for the first time at the President’s House this Friday.

In a historic first, President Christine Kangaloo will host the traditional theatrical portrayal of the Ramayana depiction, which will feature students of the El Dorado North and Tunapuna Hindu Primary Schools.

The story illustrates the story of Lord Rama, including his 14-year exile, the victory over the wicked King Ravana and traditionally culminates with the burning of an effigy of Ravana, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

Several nearby schools, including Boissiere Village R.C. and the Cascade School for the Deaf, have been invited to witness this vibrant cultural celebration.
