President Donald Trump claims that the US struck a “big facility” in Venezuela last week, which could mark the first known land strike by US forces in the country.
During a media briefing at Mar-a-Lago yesterday, the President was asked to elaborate on comments made in a radio interview broadcast Friday, where the strike was first mentioned.
President Trump did not say whether US military or the CIA executed the strike, and would not confirm whether others had been conducted.
According to Al Jazeera News, there has been no immediate comment from Venezuela on the attack, nor independent reports from the country about a US attack.
