Dr Dehlia Gabriel, the doctor whose internship was terminated after a 2018 viral video showing her in an alleged racist rant may be reinstated early next year.
Social activist Wendell Eversley made the announcement as the matter returned to the Industrial Court.
Mr Eversley said the doctor received no help from politicians after the incident, but thanked supporters who stood by her and pushed for her return to the job.
He added that Dr. Gabriel has “suffered too long,” and said the latest development is a step toward justice.
