Police have seized more than TT$6.3 million worth of cannabis during an intelligence-led operation in Gasparillo.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says officers executed search warrants at two apartments in the Reform Phase Four Residential Development on Saturday.
They reportedly found 109 packets of high-grade Colombian cannabis weighing over 57 kilogrammes, along with nearly TT$120,000 and US$146 in cash.
No one was at the premises at the time, but police say investigations are continuing and arrests are imminent.
