Police have seized firearms, ammunition, and destroyed hundreds of cannabis plants during anti-crime operations in the Western and South Western Divisions yesterday.
Between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., officers under Operation Trident raided a hillside garden at Upper Good Session Drive, Diego Martin, where they uprooted about 200 cannabis plants.
They also found a shotgun, ammunition, and a camouflage jacket in a nearby structure.
In a separate operation in Palo Seco, officers discovered two firearms and ammunition hidden in an abandoned building following reports of masked men near a mini mart.
Investigations are ongoing as police continue efforts to clamp down on illegal guns and drugs.
