Police have recovered two stolen vehicles and detained two suspects during an intelligence-led operation in the North-Eastern Division.
The exercise, carried out by officers of the Stolen Vehicles Squad between Monday afternoon and early Tuesday morning, led to the discovery of a white Nissan AD Wagon in Morvant.
The vehicle, found stripped of tyres and registration plates, had been reported stolen from St. Joseph earlier this week.
Further investigations took officers to La Fillette, Blanchisseuse, where the shell of a stolen Toyota Fielder Wagon was found.
A 33-year-old scrap iron dealer and a 39-year-old man were arrested in connection with the finds.
Investigations are continuing.
