Police are investigating two violent incidents yesterday.

In Rio Claro, beekeeper Melvin Pascall was found shot in his bed, reportedly linked to a family dispute over State-leased land.

Neighbors said gunfire was heard around 2 a.m., and threats had been made against Pascall and his family in recent months.

Meanwhile, in east Port of Spain, Dwayne Simon was killed and two men injured in a shooting at Mango Rose Housing Complex.

One victim was struck by a stray bullet while disposing of garbage.

Police continue investigations in both cases, as the national murder toll holds at fifty.
