Meanwhile, Prison Service FC defeated Club Sando 1–0, while San Juan Jabloteh hammered Point Fortin Civic 5–1.
FC Eagles also boosted their survival hopes with a 2–0 win over AC Port of Spain.
The results leave Defence Force leading the table with 46 points, while Police and Club Sando remain in contention as the season heads into its final stages.
