Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar will meet with US President Donald Trump on March 7th.
According to a video interview shared by Guardian Media, the revelation came from the PM after bilateral discussions today with U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
She says the meeting with Mr Trump with focus on several matters, including engagements with Venezuela and the way forward.
The PM adds that she remains committed to strengthening strategic alliances that deliver meaningful benefits to T&T.
The talks with Mr Rubio took place on the sidelines of the CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in St Kitts.
