Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has extended sincere greetings to the Hindu community on the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti.

Mrs Persad-Bissessar says Hanuman’s values of faith, discipline, courage and selflessness in the face of adversity can guide families, strengthen social bonds and inspire service in others.
“This sacred occasion commemorates the birth of Lord Hanuman, whose life stands as a powerful example of devotion, strength, humility, and unwavering service. His enduring legacy reminds us of the values of faith, discipline, courage, and selflessness in the face of adversity,” she said.
She encouraged citizens to reflect on these values in fostering a more united, resilient, and compassion nation.
