Police are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old Penal man.
Around 3:45am yesterday, Collis Meade and several others were walking along SS Erin Road near Boodoo’s Funeral Home, when a white car pulled up.
A masked gunman exited and opened fire, hitting Meade several times.
He was taken to the Siparia Health Facility and later transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 10:30am.
Meade, a labourer, was from Sunrees Road, Penal.
