Pan Elders - Medium Band 2026

Pan Elders won the Medium Conventional Finals on Monday to record their first title since 2019.

Playing O’Jay Richards’ arrangement of “Magician”, Pan Elders earned 289 points to win ahead of Courts Sound Specialists, and Pamberi Steel Orchestra.

Pan Elders won six straight Medium Band titles between 2014 and 2019, and took the title after 2025 winners Katzenjammers moved up to compete in the Large Band category.

Pan Trinbago president Beverly Ramsey-Moore was proud of the standard shown during the competition.

“All the bands were excellent. They brought their A-game. They told their stories on stage. Panorama now is much more than music—it is like music in words,” she said.

“I really want to commend all the young people throughout Trinidad and Tobago for their effort,” Ramsey Moore added.

The competition, sponsored by the Tobago House of Assembly, was rescheduled to Trinidad due to unforeseen issues on the sea-bridge.

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, during his address before the competition, saw the event as a show of national unity.

“Perhaps this is a divine way of showing us what unity can in fact look like, that the Tobago House of Assembly can be the title-sponsor for a national cultural event right here in Port of Spain as we celebrate one country, Trinidad and Tobago,” he said.
