The Opposition Leader is set to move a motion today in the House of Representatives to condemn what Mrs Penelope Beckles-Robinson calls the “inflammatory statements of the Prime Minister.”
Mrs Beckles-Robinson said that the Prime Minister’s statements have isolated Trinidad and Tobago and harmed its standing and interest.
The Opposition Leader intends to call upon the Government to reaffirm Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to CARICOM and to the upholding of international law.
The 14th Sitting of the House of Representatives commences at 1:30pm today.
