Opposition Leader Penelope Beckles-Robinson has raised concerns overs Trinidad and Tobago’s position on Cuba amid a humanitarian crisis on the island.
She questioned whether government has moved away from long-standing principles like sovereignty and non-alignment, and whether it might jeopardize access to Cuban medical support.
The Opposition Leader also criticised the government for failing to answer key questions in Parliament, saying the Kamla Persad-Bissessar administration was avoiding scrutiny.
Mrs Beckles-Robinson said the government lacks transparency and accountability.
