A new date has been announced for the inaugural Indo-Caribbean Music Awards!
The event, originally scheduled for September 11th, will now take place on Wednesday November 12th 2025.
The venue remains the same – the Sundar Popo Theatre, SAPA, South Trinidad.
It will be a night of celebration and top class entertainment, with the added glitz and glamor of the ‘Red Carpet’.
The event remains ‘strictly by invitation’ and will feature all the stars of the Indo-Caribbean entertainment industry.
Produced by Southex Promotions, the Indo-Caribbean Music Awards is supported by the NCIC, 103.1FM, TTT and Media 22.
Award categories include Best Male and Female Artiste, Best New Artiste, Best Original Song, Best Chutney Soca Collaboration, Best Taan Singing among others.
Of the 16 categories, four will be decided by a special committee: International Breakthrough Artiste, Most Promising Indo-Caribbean Dance Group, Posthumous Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
There will be the 103.1FM Fan Choice Award, decided through a special promotion.
