The Minister of Rural Development and Local Government, Khadijah Ameen, officially presented the Instruments of Appointment to the new Board of the Rural Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago today at Kent House, Maraval.
The Board will be chaired by Raees Patel, who, along with his team, will focus on advancing sustainable infrastructure projects, empowering rural communities, and boosting local economic development across Trinidad.
Minister Ameen congratulated the appointees, highlighting the RDCTT’s key role in implementing the Government’s rural transformation agenda and supporting the Prime Minister’s national development vision. She stressed that projects must be delivered on time, within budget, and with hands-on service guided by integrity and accountability.
The 11-member Board includes Deputy Chairman Michael Guelmo, Directors Stara Ramlogan, Dawson Phillips, Jenna Lee Ramoutar-Ramsaroop, Joanne S. Burke, Leon Kalicharan, Lyndon De Gannes, Tracy Aleong, Vindar Ragbir, and Bheemal Ramlogan.
