The North Central Regional Health Authority has dismissed online reports claiming a hospital bed was stolen from the Arima General Hospital.
A release issued today said further investigation revealed the bed was taken from another facility outside NCRHA’s jurisdiction.
It added that an immediate inventory accounted for all beds at the hospital and security footage showed no hospital equipment leaving the premises.
Yesterday, social media footage showed a man pushing a hospital bed through the streets of Arima.
