In a call for national unity, the President of the National Council for Indian Culture, Dr. Surujdeo Mangaroo, is urging citizens to rise above superficial differences.
In his recent message, he emphasized the importance of embracing respect, empathy, and shared humanity to strengthen the country’s diverse identity, at a “time when the world appears increasingly divided.”
Dr Mangaroo called on citizens to move beyond inherited suspicions and outdated narratives, stressing that national unity is rooted in mutual appreciation and cultural understanding.
He reitetrated the NCIC’s commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of the Indian community, not as a separate effort, but as a part of the national story.
