Natasha Barrow has been appointed Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.
As Head of the Public Service, she has vowed to transform and modernize operations.
She adds that this must include a clear focus on performance, efficiency and service delivery.
A ceremony was held today in Recognition of her appointment, during which time congratulations were extended by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
Ms Barrow has spent three decades in the Public Service, working in various Ministries, including National Security, and the Attorney General’s Office.
