A dispute over a parking spot is believed to be the motive behind a murder in Santa Cruz last night.
Around 10:05pm, officers responded to a report of shooting at Lynch Avenue, off Pipiol.
On arrival, officers were led to 42-year-old Lyndon Gibson, who was lying on the roadway with several gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A few days ago, Gibson reportedly got into a dispute with a neighbour over a parking spot that was being used as they wanted to bring in building materials.
