Oropouche West MP Dr. Lackram Bodoe is backing youth cricket development, supporting a young constituent selected for regional duty.
Christiano Beharry is set to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2026 Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Under-15 Tournament in Jamaica. To mark the achievement, Bodoe presented the young cricketer with a bat, recognising his dedication and hard work.
Beharry earned selection after strong performances for the South West Zone in the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board’s Interzone competition.
The MP praised his discipline and encouraged him to continue striving toward his goal of representing the West Indies at the senior level.
