63-year-old retired fire officer Anslym Alonzo has been found dead, three days after he was reported missing.
According to a Newsday report, police discovered his body in a forested area off Little Coora Road, Cumuto, on November 3rd.
His body was identified by his daughter at the scene.
Mr Alonzo, of Sangre Grande, was last seen on October 31st at his workshop in Coalmine, driving a burgundy Nissan Note.
Relatives say they are awaiting more information from police and have no reason for his murder.
