The Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services is warning the public about false information circulating regarding candidates for prosthetic limbs.
In a statement today, the Ministry said the message being shared on social media is false and misleading.
It reminded citizens that all official services are available only at Ministry offices or online at social.gov.tt, and that no other entity is authorised to conduct business on its behalf.
The Ministry is urging the public to verify all information before engaging with unofficial sources.
