Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander says rollout of the new Online Arrival/Departure Card platform has been smooth, with no major issues reported.
The Minister provided an update to 103.1FM News following the system’s full implementation today.
Minister Alexander adds that the role of Immigration and Customs officers remains unchanged.
The new online system eliminates paper-based immigration and customs forms.
Passengers arriving or departing from all ports of entry in Trinidad and Tobago are now required to complete the forms online, up to 72 hours before travel, via travel.gov.tt.
