Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Energy, Ernesto Kesar, hosted a courtesy meeting with William Sidney Bush Howard, Ambassador of Colombia, at the Ministry’s International Waterfront Complex in Port of Spain on March 19th.
The high-level talks highlighted the strong energy partnership between both nations, with Colombia purchasing liquefied natural gas from Trinidad and Tobago.
Discussions focused on expanding trade and investment, strengthening bilateral energy agreements, and introducing Spanish language training for Ministry staff to boost engagement.
Minister Kesar reaffirmed Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to deepwater exploration and regional energy leadership, emphasizing that continued collaboration with Colombia is key to achieving these strategic objectives.
