An early morning shooting at Moonan Road in Wallerfield has claimed the life of a 34-year-old man.
Meanwhile, his pregnant girlfriend and another person are now fighting for their lives after being wounded.
According to a Trinidad Express report, gunmen fired through the window of a house around 2am.
Anthony Francis was hit several times and died at the scene, while his girlfriend and another man were wounded.
They were rushed to hospital where they remain warded in critical conditions.
