During Operation Festive Shield in the Central Division, police arrested a 32-year-old man in Chaguanas and seized a revolver with five rounds of ammunition after he was found without a firearm licence.
In Couva, officers recovered 27 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition from an abandoned house and issued 20 fixed penalty notices for traffic offences.
Additional fines were issued in Cunupia for vehicle and driving violations. The TTPS says investigations are ongoing.
