Rhoda Bharath has issued a court ordered apology to Gary Griffith for claims made in 2023.
In the minute long video shared on her Newsauce Facebook page yesterday, Ms Bharath fully retracted the statements.
She also acknowledged that they would have caused harm to Mr Griffith’s personal and/or professional reputation.
Mr Griffith has re-shared the video apology on his own Facebook page with the caption, “Say whatever you want about me, but always be honest with my good name and reputation.”
On February 6th 2026, High Court Judge Betsy Ann Lambert Peterson ruled in Mr Griffith’s favour after he brought a case against Ms Bharath claiming defamation.
The case relates to several posts shared on the Newsauce page in July 2023, including one titled “Gary Griffith & The Vetted Unit”.
In addition to an apology, the Judge also awarded Mr Griffith $200,000 in damages.
