The new WASA CEO plans to prioritize equitable water distribution, infrastructure resilience, and service reliability

Yesterday, Mr. Jeevan Joseph was appointed as the acting CEO of WASA, replacing Keithroy Halliday at the helm.

It has been reported that the positions of nine other top-level executives were also terminated.

The authority says Mr. Joseph has over two decades of extensive technical and managerial expertise in the utilities sector with a distinguished career at WASA.

Mr. Joseph says he aims to ensure that everybody in every community receives fair and sustainable access to pipe borne water.

Prior to his appointment, a new WASA board of directors was announced earlier this month, with Roshan Babwah as chairman.
