An air conditioning technician was fined 10 thousand dollars after pleading guilty for stealing a camera from the Arima Police Station.
Surveillance footage showed 38-year-old Dexter Renne taking the camera while doing maintenance work at the station.
The Canon DSLR camera, worth four thousand dollars, went missing from a server room on August 7th.
And Renne was arrested two days later when he returned to the station to continue his ac work.
The Fyzabad man, in court, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay the 10 thousand dollar fine within six, months and to compensate the state 4 thousand for the stolen camera within two months.
