Pan Trinbago has announced a date change for the 2026 THA Medium Conventional Band Finals, now set for Monday, February 9th, at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah.

Originally scheduled for Sunday in Tobago, the event—dubbed “Legacy Monday”—will begin at 7:00 p.m. and forms part of the Trinidad and Tobago National Panorama 2026 celebrations.

This special edition pays tribute to the nation’s Pancestors, ancestors, and pioneers, honouring the generations who built and shaped the steelpan movement.

Under the theme “Legacy: Ours to Love, Ours to Cherish,” the finals will feature electrifying performances from the country’s top Medium Conventional Steelbands, showcasing rhythm, precision, and creativity on the national stage.

The event is presented by the Ministry of Culture and Community Development and Pan Trinbago, under the patronage of the Tobago House of Assembly and Chief Secretary Farley Augustine.

Admission is free to the public, with virtual pay-per-view access available online.

Pan Trinbago is inviting the nation to come out and celebrate the enduring legacy of the steelpan—where tradition meets innovation.
