Trinidad and Tobago head coach Derek King is ruing costly lapses in his team’s 4-1 loss to Venezuela in the FIFA Series opener in Uzbekistan earlier today.
Trinidad and Tobago led 1-0 despite missing a penalty in the opening minute of the game before conceding four goals in the last half hour.
King praised his team’s performance in the first 60 minutes but admitted the opening goal shifted the contest decisively.
He said his team lost structure and composure after that, and this must be addressed.
